"Our Waitress was chatty, super-efficient and able to recommend favourites from the daunting cocktail list… …this is definitely a place to be experimental. Delicious-sounding breakfasts make this a good place to start an evening out and recover the morning after".

"The Eagle adds a new dimension to the London drinking scene"

Edward Sullivan, Evening Standard
"Eagle is one of the most interesting bars in the West End at the moment and on the evening we visited, it did pretty well for eye-candy too. Once cosseted inside it's tempting to linger. The service is friendly, and its a great refuge from the ugly end of Oxford Street".

Susan Low, The Telegraph
"A quarter pounder Eagle burger is spot-on… …Even better is the hot salt brisket salad, oozing flavour and teamed with spicy horseradish 'slaw."

Karina Mantavia, The Guardian
“What fun!
An absolutely brilliant place to go with friends if you just want to have a good time.
The food is uncomplicated American diner grub with everything expected present and correct. Burgers and hotdogs are all good value and tasty and other options such as jambalaya are also tasty. Although not the most refined food, it is perfectly pitched and very good value.
The highlight, however, is the cocktail list – at least 6 times the length of the menu. Work your way through the 8-odd mojitos, a dozen daiquiris and a handful margaritas and you'll be warmed up enough to try the boozy milkshakes! Good non-alco ones too for the designated driver!!
However, the place has a buzzing atmosphere, the 8 seater booths are good fun and the smashing value for money makes this a place to return to when you just wanna have a good time.”
